The Harbor

Long Beach.

This metropolitan city sits next to the LA Harbor. Attraction sites like The Queen Mary, Aquarium of the Pacific, Long Beach Museum of Art, Belmont Shore and the Pike are community hotspots. Long Beach also hosts the Grand Prix event. This city has a wide-range of museums, coffee shops, bars, movie theaters, murals, and restaurants. Take a break out in nature at El Dorado Regional Park or Rancho Los Cerritos.

San Pedro.

San Pedro is a community found in the City of Los Angeles. The Port of Los Angeles makes up a partial area of this neighborhood. Landmarks like the Vincent Thomas Bridge, Cabrillo Marine Aquarium, Korean Bell of Friendship, and the Waterfront Red Car Line are great places to visit. Annually, community members gather to enjoy the festival, Shakespeare by the Sea.

Carson.

Carson is a city located in the South Bay. California State University Dominguez Hills and Dignity Health Sports Park (where the Los Angeles Galaxy train), South Bay Pavilion, and IKEA can be found here. Notable people like Forest Whitaker and Dr. Dre grew up in Carson.

 

Signal Hill.

Signal Hill is surrounded by Long Beach. This area is part of the Long Beach Oil Field, one of the most abundant oil fields in the world. At dusk or dawn, enjoy an activity outdoors or take in the beautiful views at Hilltop Park. 

Lakewood.

This suburban neighborhood is bordered by Long Beach, Cerritos, and Bellflower. You can find plenty of high-performing schools in the Long Beach, Bellflower and ABC Unified School Districts. Parks and recreation centers are abundant here.
